The INFINITI QX60 is available in two basic trim models--Pure and Luxe. These both come with the option of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD). About Pure and Luxe All-Wheel Drive

The all-wheel-drive trim model comes with Intelligent AWD. This high-tech AWD offers the ability to divert half of the engine’s power to the rear axle. This is beneficial to help reduce wheel spin and maintain throttle speed and position. If you are stuck in a bit of ice or snow on those Kentucky backroads you can regain traction much more efficiently and safely.

Comparing Upgrade Options for Pure and Luxe

As you consider which of the Pure and Luxe trim to buy, check out the different options in terms of packages. The Essential package features an upgrade on the seating material from the standard simulated-leather upholstery on the Pure model. Keep in mind, the standard model is nothing but luxury with a Fuki-Urushi crafted wood grain that is lacquered to shining perfection. The maple console is matched with leatherette and/or leather in those parts of the crossover SUV that are touched frequently.

Everything in this car is designed with the rider in mind for a more sumptuous and luxurious experience. Note that only the Luxe is available for the Limited package. With this package, you add chrome trim and grille, along with 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels for those AWD tires.

Differences in Pure and Luxe

The biggest difference in the QX60 Pure and Luxe is in the interior upgrades. Under the hood, both autos remain fairly similar. The Pure model has a moonroof, an 8-inch display, a six-speaker stereo system, and a satellite radio. You also gain several safety features with this base model. This includes emergency braking, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring.

The Luxe model of the QX60 features an upgrade to a 13-speaker Bose system along with dual screens for rear passengers’ entertainment. This model also boasts a greater safety profile with lane departure warning and parking sensors.
